Silvano Bolmida was born in the local hills of the Langhe countryside and, after gaining ten years experience in a historical winery in Barolo, took over the family business. This sparked a wave of experimentation and innovation, though he has been careful never to stray far from the unique personality of their vines and the character that springs from soils that are rich in Miocenic sand and marine microfossils.
