The vines enjoy the heat of the morning sun in the summer and a more fertile soil than vineyards at a higher elevation. This microclimate translates to a Barbaresco with approachable tannins. Pora is best enjoyed in the first 20 years of its life. The first vintage of Pora was produced in 1967.
