This is pure Sangiovese from Emilia-Romagna in Italy that has a consistent ruby red color with excellent intensity and hue. It has a complex, spicy, floral nose reminiscent of Mediterranean flora, small red and black forest berries, hints of mineral and a light toastiness. The palate is refined, warm, soft, enveloping and balanced. This wine is full-bodied, tannic with a deep and engaging, harmonious, persistent finish.
