The 2010 Barolo Terlo is a tempered and managed expression with just enough cherry and wild fruit intensity to keep your interest. That said, the wine also shows a very pretty evolution in the glass and peels back, layer after layer, with dark fruit, cola and spice. What I found of particular interest in the 2010 expression is the delicate mineral note of brimstone and lead pencil that so elegantly frames the long finish. Drink: 2016-2026.91 points from Robert Parker, The Wine AdvocateWinry Notes:Stemming from the Nebbiolo grapes of the oldest vineyard of the Einaudi estates in Barolo. A great wine which ages well, of a brilliant garnet red with touches of amber and distinctive orange tinges which intensify with age, of an intense and persistent bouquet, of great body and full taste, austere and velvety. The tannic characteristics guarantee a long life in bottle. With time it acquires complexity as the ethereal aromas of spices, truffles and leather that substitute the fruitiness of the first years of its life.
