This is a single vineyard expression from a fantastic property in Rutherford. Blended with 12% Semillon, the wine exhibits a beautiful nose of apple, citrus, honeysuckle, wet stone, and minerals. In the mouth, the weight and texture of this wine are immediately noticeable. Frequent stirring of the lees in neutral barrels makes this a big, layered Sauvignon Blanc. The long, lingering finish rewards you with flavors of apricot, pear, and a fine minerality.
