The 2009 Barbaresco Riserva Ovello is a wine of straightforward harmony and genuine richness. The bouquet offers dark fruit, licorice, spice and tobacco. The Ovello cru shows an impressive level of overall opulence. In fact, both the Ovello and the Paj vineyards have cooler conditions that help them excel in warm vintages like 2009. The tannins are firm and delineated. At the back, the wine offers a lasting sense of structure and character.
