Intensely aromatic, the elegant lavender and violet floral notes of Fleur de Mer evoke the purple-dotted hillsides and romantic seaside villages of Provence. Ripe fruit notes of watermelon, cherry and raspberry highlight the refreshing, medium-bodied palate, while hints of citrus, rose petal and minerality add appealing complexity and crisp freshness. On the long and soft finish, flavors of ripe peach and succulent melon blend with the fresh herbal and floral notes of garrigue. Made by vintner Florian Lacroux of the exclusive Les Matres Vignerons de Saint-Tropez co-operative, Fleur de Mer is a blend of 82% Grenache, 9% Cinsault and 9% other select Provenal reds.
