Drink now (May 2015)[93 pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate] The 2013 BenMarco Expresivo is a blend from the Uco Valley, mostly from Gualtallary, that is approximately 65% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. There are still some new barrels used with this wine, but it's mostly used oak, which represents a big change for previous vintages. Fresher, more delineated and purer, the palate has chewy tannins but they are nicely compensated by vibrant acidity that makes you salivate. It also has some herbal, balsamic nuances of the Cabernet Franc. Delicious! 10,000 bottles produced (Aug 2015)
